Welcome to Maldon Primary School.

Maldon Primary School, with a current enrolment of 107, opened in 1873 in Central Victoria now attracts children from a diverse community that is strong in identities and rich in history.

We develop in children a sense of pride and ownership in their school, fostering an appreciation and respect for the wider community. In our commitment to the development of the whole child, we strive to achieve the best social and welfare practices.

Each child is encouraged to take responsibility for his/her own behaviour and to acknowledge the rights of all children as learners and socially developing young citizens. Co-operative, multi-age and flexible groupings enhance a caring atmosphere amongst children.

Children are encouraged to define themselves through risk taking, reflective thinking, drafting and polishing work for public display and positive feedback. Children investigate, design, produce and evaluate, utilising parent and community expertise.
